I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Playa Del Carmen By Ihg. The spacious room was not only clean but also equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, perfect for my early mornings. I especially appreciated the friendly breakfast staff who were accommodating and made me feel welcome each day. The location was superb, just a short walk from vibrant shops and restaurants, which made exploring the area delightful.

This hotel is perfectly located just a few blocks from the beach and Fifth Avenue. The rooftop pool offers stunning views, especially in the evening. Staff members like Fernando at the front desk provided exceptional service, always attentive and helpful. I loved the breakfast, though it was the same every day. Room comfort was top-notch, with the most comfortable bed and pillows I've encountered in a hotel. However, I faced a frustrating experience trying to find a taxi late at night. The front desk was unresponsive for an hour, leaving me stranded until morning. Be cautious about taxi fares. the hotel seems to have a partnership that charges significantly more than hailing a taxi on the street. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but better communication and taxi guidance would enhance the experience.

However, obtaining pool towels proved to be inconvenient, and there were some issues with noise from neighboring guests. The room was huge and very clean, meeting all my expectations for comfort. Additionally, the location was fantastic since everything from shopping to the beach was within a 5-10 minute walk.
